Only Arsenal can concede 5 goals and still win the match

I shouldn’t laugh so hard at this superbly accurate* (and by superbly accurate I mean let me stab myself with rusty fork with one hand and wave my bar scarf in another) post. Ooh to be a Gooner, indeed.

Kept me laughing for a good 10 mins.

Today marks 12 years since Muhammad Al-Durrah, the 12 year old Palestinian boy was killed by Israeli forces as his father tried to shield him.

For 45 minutes Israeli forces fired as Jammal Al-Durrah tried to shield his son shouting “Don’t shoot” before they were both eventually shot, Muhammad fatally. A paramedic was killed and another wounded whilst trying to assist them.

How time flies, yet we will never forget!

Kulsoom Abdullah became the first woman to compete in the U.S. championships while wearing clothing that covers her legs, arms and head. She finished fifth out of six competitors.
Yes you can

Let me just tell you, I met her at the iftar at the State Department in DC this past year. She is significantly shorter than me, I am 5’5 which is about pretty average for a woman. I honestly thought she was only about 18-19 years old. MashAllah, not only has she accomplished this, but she completed a undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  Kulsoom then finished her PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. So not only does this amazing muslim woman have strength, she’s also got the brains. Two things that the media doesn’t usually show about Muslim women around the world.
What an inspiration, subhanAllah.

Say what you wish in abuse of me, for my silence towards the idiot is indeed an answer. I am not at a loss for a response but rather, It does not befit the lion to answer the dogs.

“Rohingya - The Forgotten People”

People talk about the Burma crisis, but this is something you need to see with your own eyes. This short video is evidence of the ethnic cleansing happening to the Rohingya people in Burma! It’s a secret Holocaust! And people continue to turn the other cheek! I feel awful that I am only hearing more about this now. This has been going on for years! These people need YOUR help! Please SPREAD THE WORD! Get involved!

People don’t understand that Sikhs are not Muslims, which is why Sikhs are often unfairly targeted.

—

Eric Marrapodi, CNN Belief blog Co-editor.

Thank you, for clearing that up for me. Don’t shoot Sikhs, but we still have the green light on Muslims? Got it, just trying to keep it fair here. Thank you CNN, for bringing a white guy on to explain Sikhism to America. I only like my news/heinous crimes/complex social issues superficially condensed so they’re easier to swallow.

The Prophet Muhammad (عليه السلام) said:

“If without good reason anyone kills a sparrow, or a creature lesser than that even, the living creature will put his plaint to God on the Day of Judgment, saying; “So-and-so killed me for no purpose.” [Nasai]

okay i am never killing insects again

Now I know why sometimes my dad will scold me for killing ants. :(
